Early Access Known Bugs Log

Welcome to Early Access—the magical time when you get to experience a game in its raw, unpolished glory, complete with quirky bugs and oddball glitches. We’re thrilled to have you along for the ride as we smooth out the wrinkles in our post-apocalyptic playground.

We’re pulling back the curtain to share the most notorious bugs currently scuttling around, because transparency is key—and, our community has always played a critical role in helping us shape Solarwood for the better. From NPCs doing interpretive dance routines to items teleporting into the void, here’s what you can expect (and maybe even laugh at) while you explore the chaos. Don’t worry, we’re working hard to squash them—just… maybe not the ones that are kind of entertaining.

Here, you’ll find a list of our known bugs that we are currently working through, so if you encounter any of these ‘quirky features’, there’s no need to report it as we are already on the case. However if you spot an altogether different issue, please log it with our team by following the steps below:

1. Log in to your account at embersword.com
2. Click on the profile icon (top right) and select ‘contact’
3. Complete the form selecting ‘Report a Bug’ from the dropdown

WALLET & PURCHASES

• Don't reload during a wallet transaction. This will lead to a disconnect in the transaction, and potentially in loss of funds and not receiving your assets. If you do encounter any issues please contact support who are on hand to help.

CONTROLS

• There is an /unstuck command that will teleport you if you get stuck in terrain. Use with caution, as it has a long cooldown!

ANIMATIONS

• The character can get stuck in a mining animation. Mining a different ore node, or reloading the page, fixes the problem.

UI

• Levelling Fishing doesn't give sound effects like other abilities do.
• Tradepack reward icons are missing
• There is a visual bug in the displayed values of buffs. The correct values are applied in the Character Panel.

GAMEPLAY

• After handing in a tradepack, trade ambushes will still occur. To make them stop, reload the page.
• Tradepack Ambush happening in safe zones
• Seismic stomp pulls enemies through you
• Astral Shard Staff attack move is missing VFX
• Location quests (arena, city) are currently bugged and cannot be completed
• Players are currently unable to obtain a replacement tradepack after losing their first crafted one during the tradepack questline
• Occasionally, weapons and tools may appear simultaneously in the character panel or during gameplay.
