Ember Sword Code of Conduct

The Player Code of Conduct is here to ensure Ember Sword remains a safe and enjoyable place, where adventure finds you, together with your teammates.

The list below is not exhaustive, and Bright Star Studios reserves the right to evaluate each case individually and amend this Code of Conduct at any time.

General Behavior

All players are expected to behave in a manner that promotes a positive and enjoyable environment. This includes being respectful, kind, and sportsmanlike to all players and staff.

Communication & Usernames

When engaging with others on any Bright Star platform, respect is the foundation of a fun experience. Offensive, sexually explicit, harmful, hateful, or threatening language is prohibited and may result in penalties against your account. This includes inappropriate usernames. Spamming is also prohibited in all of our platforms and in-game.

Harassment and real-life threats are never acceptable. Bright Star Studios is committed to providing a safe environment for everyone. We actively identify and address potential threats, such as grooming, real-life threats, scamming, and any form of illegal activities in-game.

Cheating

Cheating ruins the fun for everyone. The use of third-party software or exploiting bugs to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited and may result in penalties against your account.

Reporting

If you encounter any behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please let us know via our support team or via Discord. We’ll add in-game reporting in a future update. Your reports help us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

Privacy and Personal Information

Do not share your personal information or solicit personal information from others. Respect the privacy of fellow players and avoid sharing their personal information without consent.

Consequences

Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in various actions against your account, including warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans, depending on the severity of the offense.

Account Security

Keep your account secure by not sharing your login details with others. Use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication if available.
