Job Description

Want to be onboard a rocketship and help build a new and groundbreaking MMORPG?

Leading edge gaming studio looking for a Senior Art Producer to join the production team. We are looking for an authentic and passionate team player who’s eager to partner with their fellow Producers as well as our Art Director, Art Leads and Artists and be an active and valuable part of our growing Producer team based in Copenhagen.

You will be working in a Producer team consisting of slightly weird but nice and professional people.

Your primary job will be to set up and maintain project schedules for the Art team's work and help ensure smooth and efficient progression towards our long-term goals as well as the short-term projects and deliveries.

It is very likely that we will start outsourcing some of the artwork, so experience with outsourcing studios and understanding of the implications of outsourcing is a plus.

We are developing Ember Sword, a groundbreaking browser-based and Free-to-Play MMORPG game set in a community-driven PvE and PvP fantasy universe. With player-owned collectible cosmetics and a blockchain-enhanced economy, this game is on a mission to disrupt the current gaming industry norms.

Your TO DOs

  • Support the Art teams in the tracking and delivery of their work
  • Lead the Art teams through the sprint events
  • Follow sprint progress and help mediate problems that arise
  • Act as a key contact for interdisciplinary deliveries
  • Ensure effective organization and delivery of asset traffic between the dev teams as well as the marketing team
  • Proactively report risks to the Producer team, manage change requests and solve arising problems before they impact either schedule or overall end result
  • Identify problems, and propose solutions for your team before they become roadblocks
  • Anticipate resource needs - both short and long term
  • Communicate relevant information to different stakeholders at the appropriate time
  • Collaborate with the Art Director and Art Leads to create a positive, enthusiastic and supportive culture on the teams

The MUSTs

  • 3+ years working as a Producer or Project Manager on games supervising Art production pipelines
  • Excellent communication skills. It’s vital that you can communicate clearly, honestly, timely, and respectfully with all your collaborators
  • Very structured. You like making plans and following up on them - and colored spreadsheets are a thing of beauty to you
  • Understanding of the material required to support large-scale cross-site art production
  • Advanced knowledge of agile development methods and tools, and ability to adapt to changes
  • Make sure to see things through to the final resolution
  • Strong team player able to give and take constructive criticism in a professional manner
  • You care about people and their welfare
  • You're based in Europe and willing to relocate to Copenhagen
  • Passion for gaming
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and written

The GOOD TO HAVEs

  • Outsourcing experience is a big plus
  • Prior background in art which helps you understand the artistic and technical side of art production
  • Experience playing MMOs
  • Expertise with Jira, Confluence, Miro, or comparable software
  • You are a nice person… but not too nice ;)

The ATTRIBUTEs

  • This is not your average gaming company. We are a culture that encourages challenging the status quo. Therefore, we are keen to work with people who value integrity, accountability, curiosity, inclusion, passion, and innovation.
  • We operate in an industry that is evolving on a daily basis. We are looking for talented individuals who are comfortable adapting to a fast-paced and often changing environment and dealing with ambiguity.

The PRACTICALs

  • This role is based in Copenhagen.
